Nothing gets your point across better than photography and video. At AMP, we compliment our multimedia services with video production.
We can help you with all your video production needs whether it's a corporate video, TV Commercial, Special Event or transfer to other digital media. Our years of experience allow us to deliver all our productions in great quality for the different media types.
Some of our most common delivery formats are: BetaSP, VHS, MiniDV, DVD, MPEG2, MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, FLV just to name a few. As the need increases, we will begin offering High Definition Video Services as well as our new standard.
Film vs. Video.
One thing many people fail to realize is that film and video require a recording method completely different from each other. Film gets recorded in a raw high quality celuloid strip of film which needs to be developed in order to allow for editing and any or all work on it.
Video on the other hand, whether it's analog or digital, does not require of this proces making it a much more affordable solution while still retaining as high quality as standard definition TVs can offer.
SD vs. HD.
Standard definition video is what the most of the world still uses at their homes to watch video. It can only draw 480 lines for NTSC systems like in the US, Japan and most of South America. This is the format we use for our productions.
High Definition instead, can draw more lines of resolution at once, giving you a much nicer definition and picture quality. The current standards are 720p, 1080i and 1080p, although a new 4000p resolution is in the works for true film quality experience.
One thing you should know is that watching 4:3 SD on a 16:9 HD TV will look really grainy. However, 16:9 SD on an HD will look just as sharp. Also, watching HD video on an SD TV will not look any better because of the limitation on the SD resolution.
With this said, make sure to know what your target audience's TV format will be predominant. This will help you better define your production budget.
Same as with all productions, we always follow a process taht allows us to get to know you and your product/service better. After this, we work on an estimate which we present to you prior to signing a work agreement. Upon approval of our estimate and signing of the agreement, we will require your service deposit (usually 30%) and the remainder balance upon completion of your production.
Should you require additional services during or after the production, please remember that if it wasn't specified on the production agreement, it will incur an additional cost.
